Here, there and back again...

The last few days have been a bit hectic...



Saturday I went to the vintage fair and bought a few goodies!



These shoes were on displays - I just love them ! Although I cant afford them right now...



Look at these retro shoes!



This is were I start thinking "The Vintage Baroness might like these...hm..." :)



Then later that evening I went to a club and saw the fabulous Duchess Dubois!



In the audience there was this woman in a hat she had made herself as a homage to Schiaparelli !



Me, in a festive mood.



Monday I had to travel to... Zürich for a meeting.



As the meeting was inside a hotel at the airport and I had 4 hours left before my return flight... home I went into town to enjoy what was a beautiful and sunny spring day !



It was fun walking the streets of Zürich.



I stopped here to look at all the amazing crystal work.



Took some pictures.



And left wanting this... :)



Easter preparations!



Tuesday I was back in Sweden, re-apacked and then straight to Helsingborg to visit my dear friend Yvonne!



We have had such a great time!



Today we took a stroll by the beach and...


And ended on the balcony with some "Wednesday Champagne" - mind you any old day would have been just fine for a lil´champagne drinking ! ;)

Quickie...

This weekend was a big vintage fair. Here I am on my way to the fair. Notice the faux bang... hm, I´m quite enjoying this new look! More to come on the goodies I bought in my next post, but I need to tell you right away about the shoes I feel in love with !!



There "pimped" clogs from Swedish Hasbeens. This model is Mimi :) They are so cute ! I think I have to buy a pair for the summer !

Inspired by Fleur !

So, here I am late at night, getting ready to go to bed ( which is the reason for the no-make-up-bed-jacket-style photos you re about to see... :) when I checked Fleur de Guerres latest twitter post, where she posted this beautiful image! I was so inspired that I started fooling around in front of the mirror and ended up looking like ...



This! I have NEVER had a faux bang in my entire life and I´m not quite sure what to think...



Perhaps, I just need getting used to it? Of course, I didn't have a rat filler so the shape is not quite right, still - what say ye of the vintage blog world? If you don´t think I look all too strange, I just might wear it to tomorrows vintage fair ! :)

Stockings

This arrived to day. Seamed shiny nylon stockings at the price of 5 €/7 $ - sweet! :)

Todays outfit and my first mobile blogpost!

Needed a little structure today - this is what I chose, grey (image not too good) turtleneck, grey pencil skirt, vintage earrings & brooch and a vintage jacket with fur trimmings.

Sewing

In Sweden we have this old beautiful world for sewing with a group of women called "syjunta". Today some women came over to my home to do just that!


This is what I wore.



Together with my red shoes.



And after trying to darn some vintage stockings (very Vivianne Westwood-like I must say... :)
I learned how to do this! Isn't this pretty! And useful too!

Suddenly Last Summer

Swedish Television recently sent this film as a tribute to Elisabeth Taylor. Quite a powerful film!



Otherwise my life has been a bit stressful lately... Need to find a less expensive apartment ( even though I am very comfortable where I am ) and have been running around meeting after meeting talking about different directing possibilities. Being a freelancing artist is hard work...
