That I´m going to Paris in July ! I´m going there to to attend my french cousins marriage, mais oui ! Now if only Dita von Teese could prolong her stay at Crazy Horse... And this song !!!

I simply can´t stop listening ( and dancing ! ) to this song by the exquisite Mary J Bligh !!

Change of mind

I just realised this evening that I need to stop feeling I have to have such "great" and "perfect" posts on my blog and treat it more like I do my Facebook page - just make a note of the moment. Instead of spending endless time trying to find the "right" picture or feeling that I can´t post a picture because its not" vintage enough..." :)

Ah, the things we learn and the time it takes. OK, here goes!



Yesterday evening I was watching "Leatherheads" ( I haven´t gotten through it yet). The opening scene was great with a crowd in mid-20s costumes and I started to think of how Baroness von Vintage would love this movie ( even though shes a more of a 193os kinda gal) and how cool George Clooney is - in the words of La Baronessa - swoon !

When suddenly I see Reneé Zellweger in a hairstyles that can only be described as a ... 1940 style ... What was that ?? Very strange...

These Minna Parikka shoes ... They are sooo sexy !

And the tour here in Sweden has been amazing ! Great reviews and sold out shows ! I´m seeing them one last time before they leave for Ghana 8th May.

Hello Vintage Lovers !

I will be quite busy for a few days, as my theatre cast is arriving from Ghana tomorrow ! Our production is going on tour here in Sweden and I´m so excited ! I´ll try posting some pics later in the week.

Happy Easter everyone !

Hope you´re all enjoying the coming of Spring somewhere, I know I have been today !



A promise...

... Sun !!! :) I then went home and made myself some Easter dinner !

Orange chicken á la moi ! After dinner I knocked on my elderly neighbours door to wish them Happy Holidays, which is when we snapped this picture ( a little out of focus ...)



As my house is still not quite in shape, I spent the rest of the afternoon ... cleaning and organizing ...



First the clothes in my "closet".



Then my shoes.



Then my hats ...



... and handbags. The dresses were mine as a little girl ... :) The handbags are all vintage, the smallest is a beautiful little powder & lipstick case from the 1930s and in front are some ...



... pretty vintage compacts that I´ve been meaning to fill for ever ...



Another two "bags". The gold one I plan to use as a hatbox when I just want to bring one hat it could also be an extravagant evening bag. It used to be a beauty box.

The rest of the evening I´ve been planning tomorrows Easter dinner, when my sister-in-law and her two daughters, my nieces, will arrive.



Hm ... how does this sound ? Slightly melted goat cheese on toast with fig jam for starters, oven-baked salmon with potatoes, some french bean salad and a touch of Swedish Easter food with some boiled eggs and pickled herring. For dessert I´m just bringing out a big ole´Easter egg stuffed with candy ! :) Actually, I already had some of it ... Sort of a little too much as a amatter of fact ... ah, well ... ;)
