Hope you´re all enjoying the coming of Spring somewhere, I know I have been today !
A promise...
A budding of new things...
Making us all curious :) to take part in the adventure...
For now its just the beginning...
But it will lead to more of what we want, no need so desperately ...
... Sun !!! :) I then went home and made myself some Easter dinner !
To me !
Orange chicken á la moi ! After dinner I knocked on my elderly neighbours door to wish them Happy Holidays, which is when we snapped this picture ( a little out of focus ...)
As my house is still not quite in shape, I spent the rest of the afternoon ... cleaning and organizing ...
First the clothes in my "closet".
Then my shoes.
Then my hats ...
... and handbags. The dresses were mine as a little girl ... :) The handbags are all vintage, the smallest is a beautiful little powder & lipstick case from the 1930s and in front are some ...
... pretty vintage compacts that I´ve been meaning to fill for ever ...
Another two "bags". The gold one I plan to use as a hatbox when I just want to bring one hat it could also be an extravagant evening bag. It used to be a beauty box.
The rest of the evening I´ve been planning tomorrows Easter dinner, when my sister-in-law and her two daughters, my nieces, will arrive.
Hm ... how does this sound ? Slightly melted goat cheese on toast with fig jam for starters, oven-baked salmon with potatoes, some french bean salad and a touch of Swedish Easter food with some boiled eggs and pickled herring. For dessert I´m just bringing out a big ole´Easter egg stuffed with candy ! :) Actually, I already had some of it ... Sort of a little too much as a amatter of fact ... ah, well ... ;)

Haha ! That´s how I feel sometimes when I see great vintage things - if only I could jump into the screen !
